COURSES

Courses run on Saturdays, between 10:00 and 4:00. Intensive courses will run periodically; click on Atrium Atelier logo above for blog and updates. Scroll down to bottom of page for calender.

If we have space there is the option to take the morning or afternoon classes separately.

In the morning, between 10:00 and 12:30, all students work together, live from the figure model.

In the afternoon, from 1:30 to 4:00 the students work through a carefully structured series of studies, which build one upon another to give the artist a comprehensive set of skills in drawing and painting in oils. The course is as follows:

1. Bargue Drawing  (click for more info)
2. Cast and Portrait Drawing  (click for more info)
3. Cast and Portrait Painting  (click for more info)

Each student will progress onto the next level of study as they acquire the skills needed to do so successfully.
